Job Summary
Set up, program, and operate brake press equipment while performing routine maintenance and ensuring daily production meets quality standards. Inspect parts, document accuracy, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Prioritize safety, follow all workplace policies, and support production needs across departments as required. This role requires 5+ years of brake press experience, strong blueprint reading and shop math skills, and the ability to work within tight deadlines. Flexibility to travel between multiple PD locations is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years' experience operating Brake Press equipment
- Flexibility to travel between multiple PD locations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent blueprint reading capabilities
- Excellent shop math skills
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer 2-year technical/business degree or equivalent experience
- Welding skills a plus
