Job Summary
Set up and run brake press equipment efficiently while performing daily preventive maintenance and ensuring conformance to quality specifications. Start up and stop machinery, load and unload items from carts, and feed parts onto equipment for processing. Maintain a safe work environment using proper personal protective equipment and lifting techniques, while cleaning the production area and recording data. Use Epicor ERP to log into and out of jobs, and properly scrap non-conforming material. Work from routings, blueprints, and visual aids to manufacture products at required quality levels, assisting in training new employees and recommending process changes.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Basic math and communication skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to complete and understand direction from team leads/supervisors
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, grip, and grasp up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to bend, twist, and reach
- Must stand and/or walk up to 8-10 hours per day
- Must be able to read and interpret gauges
- Must be able to use Epicor ERP to log into and out of jobs
- Must be able to work from routings, manufacturing instruction sheets, blueprints, visual aids, or other instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with power and hand tools is a plus
