Job Summary
Brake Press Operator position in Hartford, WI at FabriFast. Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining brake press machines to bend and form metal sheets, reading blueprints, selecting tooling, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring precision and quality control. Duties include following safety procedures, inspecting finished parts, measuring workpieces with micrometers and calipers, reviewing work orders, and supporting production through ongoing quality and efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Accurately use set up tools, feeders, coilers, and coil straighteners
- Troubleshoot causes when parts do not conform to specs
- Have good math ability and problem-solving skills
- Perform physical actions which may include frequent bending, twisting, reaching, walking, consistent standing, and the ability to lift/carry and push/pull objects
