Job Summary
Setup and safely operate CNC Press Brakes to process high-quality products, verifying machine settings and tolerances while maintaining cleanliness and documenting tooling. Perform deburring and inspection to assure conformance, detect equipment malfunctions, and adjust machines within capabilities. Calculate blank sizes, bend locations, and tonnage; read drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and sequence operations. Organize work areas and stack completed parts efficiently. Communicate production items to next shift operators or supervisors and resolve machining or quality issues with management, production control, and other shop personnel. Utilize the Epicor ERP system and perform other duties as assigned. Work 9:30pm to 6:00am Sunday through Thursday onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as CNC operator
- Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Good communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work from drawings and sketches
- Ability to understand and work within an ERP System (Epicor)
- Must be able to work 6am-2:30pm with overtime available in the evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus
