Job Summary
Brake Press Operator with weekend shift (Friday–Sunday 06:00 AM–06:15 PM or 06:00 PM–06:15 AM) responsible for setting up brake, loading sheets, bending, and calibration with CNC, operating press brake and related equipment, and maintaining safety and quality. Must read and decipher flat sheets, perform basic math, use calipers, and complete required reports. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a team, and adhere to LEAN practices with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines. Strong emphasis on safety, PPE, and daily tasks such as grinding, marking, material handling with an overhead magnetic crane, and data entry into the press brake computer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one (1) year experience in Brake Press/CNC machinery or no experience, and has graduated within a related study from an accredited trade school.
