Job Summary
Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components. The role involves installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts, as well as testing and installing batteries. Technicians will also dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace or recalibrate TPMS components. Excellent customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to assist customers and test drive vehicles. On-the-job training is provided for skills development.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a rapid pace environment
- Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds
- Occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
- Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling
- Continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing
