Job Summary
Develop and implement group cognitive remediation programs for individuals with traumatic and acquired brain injuries in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Deliver direct therapeutic services, consultation, and support to persons served to address cognitive, behavioral, and functional rehabilitation needs. Assist in developing individualized goals, treatment plans, and measurable objectives while designing functional strategies and recommending adaptive equipment to maximize independence. Plan and facilitate individual and group sessions based on unique needs, monitor progress toward treatment goals, and communicate recommendations to the team. Maintain accurate documentation including progress notes and session records. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure high-quality, person-centered care for adults with brain injuries in our Adult Day Program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Must meet the certification criteria as defined by the Society for Cognitive Rehabilitation
- Must receive ACBIS certification within 1 year of hire

- Prior experience working with neurologically-impaired individuals
