Job Summary
The Brain Health Training Program (BHTP) Coordinator at KU ADRC serves as the primary operational lead for day-to-day management, coordination, and implementation of the BHTP. Responsibilities include coordinating training activities (visiting scholars, lectureships, seminars, collaborative workgroups, retreats, and other educational forums), coordinating trainee recruitment, onboarding, and progress tracking across NIH-funded programs, maintaining records for NIH reporting, ensuring program compliance, communicating with trainees and mentors, developing and maintaining SOPs and program documentation, and collaborating with university partners to ensure visibility and compliance across institutional materials. The role emphasizes strong project management, process standardization, and the development of administrative workflows, calendars, dashboards, and reporting tools to support complex training programs. Involves collaboration with finance/administrative teams for trainee stipends and preparing financial reports, and contributes to program evaluation and continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years of relevant experience
- Experience interacting with healthcare or research related personnel
- Experience working with medical terminology and national grant policies and procedures
- Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
- Experience with academic or medical center educational programs
- Experience working with trainees in healthcare-related fields
- Experience working with training programs, grants and human resources functions
- Experience with prior teaching, curriculum coordination/development, or similar
- Experience with event planning and coordination
