Job Summary
Create detailed project Capital Cost Estimates using Hatch estimate classifications (FEL 1, 2, 3, and 4). Calculate direct and indirect field costs, cash expenditures, and predicted escalation over project duration from first principles or factorization. Prepare written documentation, estimating plans, basis of estimate, and report sections to support efforts, then present final capital estimates to clients. Ensure all deliverables align with company procedures, standards, and best industry practices. Requires 10+ years of first principle estimating experience in large multidiscipline industrial EPC environments with strong MS Office and estimating software skills. Required Qualifications
- 10 + years of experience in a first principle estimating environment
- ideally on large multidiscipline industrial projects in an EPCM environment
- Strong MS Office skills
- experience with estimating tools and systems
- Site experience including hands on knowledge of direct construction field labor and productivity rates
- Knowledge/experience with estimating software and databases
- Knowledge of EPC/LSTK estimating techniques
