Job Summary
BPT2 trainee in physician training program providing supervised day-to-day clinical care for ambulatory and admitted patients, including assessment, clinical management, and discharge planning; rotations in subspecialties and general medicine; potential secondments to Compass 6 hospitals; post start Feb 2027 with SVHM for a year (with potential extension); learners will have access to strong training and leadership support, and opportunities for professional development within a leading teaching hospital. Requires current unrestricted AHPRA registration, and enrollment in the RACP Prep program at BPT1 level. Demonstrated communication skills with patients and families, and adherence to safety policies. Eligible candidates may be considered for longer-term arrangements; pre-employment checks and immunisations required.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience applying medical knowledge towards sound clinical diagnosis, investigation and treatment of patients
- Demonstrated effective communication with patients, relatives, staff and colleagues
- Knowledge and ongoing adherence to hospital safety policies
- Current enrolment in the RACP Prep programme at BPT1 level
