Job Summary
Conduct daily outdoor track coaching for Lincoln High School during the Spring 2026/27 school year. Demonstrate knowledge and training in the specific activity, with previous coaching or moderation experience preferred. Complete all required NFHS courses prior to first practice, including Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Protecting Students from Abuse, Heat Illness Prevention, Student mental Health & Suicide prevention, First Aid, Health, and Safety, and a Sport Specific Course. Provide proof of current and valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certification to RIPCOA. Pass a successful interview.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of and training in the specific activity
- Successful interview
- Evidence of completed an approved first aid and CPR/AED course
- Proof of current and valid First Aid, CPR & AED cards
- Completion of NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching course
- Completion of NFHS Concussion course
- Completion of NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest course
- Completion of Protecting Students from Abuse course
- Completion of Heat Illness Prevention course
- Completion of Student mental Health & Suicide prevention course
- Completion of First Aid, Health, and Safety course
- Completion of a Sport Specific Course
