Job Summary
Conduct daily boys lacrosse practice sessions and manage team operations for the Spring 26/27 school year. Complete required NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and abuse prevention courses prior to first practice. Maintain current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications as verified by RIPCOA. Demonstrate knowledge of the sport and prior coaching experience during the selection interview.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of and training in the specific activity
- Applicant must show evidence to the RIPCOA that he/she has completed an approved first aid and CPR/AED course
- Proof of current and valid First Aid, CPR & AED cards
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching course
- NFHS Concussion course
- NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- Protecting Students from Abuse
- Heat Illness Prevention
- Student mental Health & Suicide prevention
- First Aid, Health, and Safety
- Sport Specific Course
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in coaching or moderating the specific activity
