Job Summary
Instruct athletes in fundamental soccer skills, strategy, and physical training to achieve individual and team success while fostering character development, self-discipline, and sportsmanship among student-athletes. Coordinate with the athletic director and principal, plan clinics and staff meetings, supervise assistants, manage equipment, organize preseason meetings and community/media outreach, recruit athletes for the program, monitor academics and conduct, and ensure safety and proper procedures. The role emphasizes leadership, program development, and ongoing professional growth through coaching clinics and observations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport
- Demonstrated ability to instruct, motivate, and supervise student-athletes
