Job Summary
Create and implement practice plans for recreational and competitive boys' gymnastics programs while maintaining an engaging, energetic, and fun atmosphere. Provide instruction to youth of varying ages, ensuring attention is maintained throughout sessions. Travel to competitions within the state of Pennsylvania and greet parents and children warmly. Monitor a safe and healthy environment for all participants. Work a flexible schedule averaging 16-20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, at the largest indoor sports complex in North America.
Required Qualifications
- PA State Police criminal history record
- PA Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Fingerprint-based criminal history clearance
- Employment versions of each clearance
- 18 years of age or older
- Dependable transportation to and from work
- Fluent knowledge of the English language
- Ability to read and interpret written information
- Ability to speak and understand verbal communication
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to demonstrate gymnastic skills in curriculum to students
- Interactive and hands-on, comfortable instructing children of various ages
- Established curriculum focusing on gymnastics, cheerleading and tumbling
- Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality
- Brings integrity to every interaction
- Takes initiative to jump in where needed
- Lifts up teammates to win together
- Creates an environment where positivity and kindness shape every guest experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
