Job Summary
Seasonal Fall 2026 Boys Football Assistant Coach at Hamtramck Public Schools (Hamtramck High School). Responsible for developing, organizing, and directing all aspects of the football program, directing practices and games, supervising and mentoring assistant coaches, promoting sportsmanship and academic accountability, and collaborating with school leadership, athletic staff, and families to meet academic and athletic standards. Requires coaching experience and the ability to teach football fundamentals, leadership, discipline, and teamwork; strong communication and organizational skills; and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Schedule includes after-school commitments, with stipend per HFT Teacher Contract.
Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience required
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven ability to teach Football fundamentals, sportsmanship, leadership, and discipline
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
