Job Summary
Direct all phases of the Boys Cross Country athletic program, including season management and player development. Coordinate out-of-season camps and clinics as needed. Obtain a Type 2 coaching license and adhere to all WIAA and district rules, policies, and guidelines. Attend required district and WIAA trainings, including concussion management sessions, to maintain eligibility. Maintain strong organizational and communication skills while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Apply must include a high school diploma and willingness to pass fingerprint screening.
Required Qualifications
- Type 2 license or willingness to obtain
- Must meet WIAA coaching requirements
- Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines
- High School Diploma, required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attend District training regarding concussion management
- Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligiblity
Desired Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Previous coaching experience at high school or collegiate level
