Job Summary
Drive heavy-duty vehicles to deliver cannabis products to retail locations and third-party retailers, managing pickups, loads, and transport while adhering to strict routes and schedules. Package goods, collect payments, handle cash, and complete required logs and reports. Perform preventative maintenance, inspect vehicles for safety issues, and resolve client complaints based on feedback. Assist with store deliveries, loading, unloading, and pallet management while maneuvering trucks into positions. Report defects, accidents, or violations and comply with all driving regulations and company policies. Work under direct supervision, handling basic issues and referring complex ones to staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Valid California driver's license with 0 points, no accidents in 3 years
- Clean driving record
- Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
Desired Qualifications
- Cannabis Industry experience is a plus
- Trucking school diploma or certifications preferred, but not required
- Proven working experience as a delivery driver in any industry
