Job Summary
Operate a box truck to pick up donated items from donors, including loading and unloading heavy items and maintaining accurate donation records. Interact professionally with donors, follow designated pickup routes efficiently, ensure items are securely transported, and maintain a clean, safe vehicle. Provide excellent customer service, coordinate pickups, report maintenance or safety concerns, and participate in training to stay current with procedures and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Pass motor vehicle records check
- Proven ability to operate a box truck safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations applicable to large commercial vehicles
- Ability to work independently and adhere to a set schedule
- Proficiency in maneuvering the truck in tight spaces
- Flexible schedule to accommodate changes in pickup routes or schedules
- High school diploma or GED preferred
