Job Summary
Drive company trucks to make route deliveries to customers and meet delivery schedules. Maneuver trucks into position to load and unload delivery trucks. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, report defects, accidents, and violations, and perform preventative maintenance. Complete paperwork necessary for company and DOT regulations. Communicate with Fleet Management on maintenance issues. Operate a forklift and handle heavy lifting of 75+ lbs. Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with end times varying due to workload and coverage. Earn $19.00 hourly plus a quarterly driver safety bonus. Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of previous experience driving 26-28 FT box trucks or any other commercial motor vehicle over 10,001 lbs.
- Valid truck driver license and relative endorsement for the specific state.
- Willing to submit to drug screens, background checks and maintain a valid DOT medical examiners card.
- No recent moving or driving violations, remain insurable at the standard insurance market rate.
- Operate / Drive a forklift.
