Job Summary
Box Truck Driver to perform route deliveries in Columbia, SC. Drive company 26-28 ft box trucks, load/unload as needed, and meet delivery schedules while staying compliant with DOT regulations. Inspect vehicles for safety, perform preventative maintenance, report defects, and complete paperwork for company/DOT compliance. Coordinate with Fleet Management on maintenance and issues. Requires 1-3 years of driving experience with a box truck or CMV, a valid driver’s license with the appropriate state endorsement, willingness to submit to drug screens and background checks, and ability to lift 75+ lbs. Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of previous experience driving 26-28 FT box trucks or any other CMV over 10,001 lbs
- Valid truck driver license with state-specific endorsement
- Willing to submit to drug screens and background checks
- Maintain a valid DOT medical card
- Operate forklift (preferred)
- No recent moving or driving violations; insurable at standard rate
