Job Summary
Drive company trucks to make route deliveries to customers and meet delivery schedules. Maneuver trucks into position to load and unload delivery trucks. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, report defects, accidents, and violations, and perform preventative maintenance. Complete necessary paperwork for company and DOT regulations. Communicate with Fleet Management regarding maintenance issues. Operate a forklift and handle heavy lifting up to 75+ lbs. Work Monday through Friday from 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with quarterly safety bonuses and medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits. Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of previous experience driving 26-28 FT box trucks or any other commercial motor vehicle over 10,001 lbs.
- Valid truck driver license and relative endorsement for the specific state.
- Willing to submit to drug screens, background checks and maintain a valid DOT medical examiners card.
- No recent moving or driving violations, remain insurable at the standard insurance market rate.
- Operate / Drive a forklift.
