Job Summary
Perform deliveries and pickups from Century customer locations while adhering to all DOT and HOS requirements. Execute daily activities including loading, unloading, and operating the lift gate at the facility and customer sites. Conduct linen counts, verify delivery receipts with signatures, and maintain cargo security by repositioning carts. Prepare the truck for the next shift by fueling, cleaning, and organizing keys and receipts. Report customer feedback or vehicle issues to the supervisor and occasionally fill in for absent drivers. Requires a Class D license, clean motor vehicle record, and ability to move carts weighing up to 600 lbs. Flexible schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Box Truck Experience - 16ft to 28ft trucks
- High School Diploma or GED
- Class D licenses
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT background check & physical examination
- Good communication skills with internal and external customers
- Ability to perform the basic functions of the job including reading, writing, and simple math calculations
- Basic computer skills
- Physical ability to push and pull carts as the job requires
- Ability to move wheeled carts weighing up to 600 lbs
- Able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays
- Travel Required: Yes. Consistent with service area
Desired Qualifications
