Job Summary
Load linen carts onto an 18 ft. to 28 ft. box truck in the correct order based on the daily assigned delivery route and deliver linen product to customers in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service to each customer in order to retain accounts. Handle carts weighing up to 600 pounds with wheels, requiring the ability to lift 30 pounds overhead and push or pull heavy loads. Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and meet all DOT requirements. Drive Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays starting at 5:00 AM, including nights, holidays, and occasionally weekends.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience driving a box truck
- Meets all DOT requirements
- Is physically able to perform the duties of this position
- The ability to lift 30 pounds overhead and to push or pull a linen cart that weighs up to 600 pounds
- Able to drive nights, holidays, and occasionally on weekends
- Strong communication and customer service skills
