Job Summary
Transport orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle while ensuring daily delivery schedules are met. Provide friendly and professional customer service throughout the route. If deliveries slow down, assist in the Yard to ensure weekly hours goals are reached. Prior experience delivering building materials, furniture, or appliances is preferred, along with an acceptable driving record and familiarity with delivery equipment. Full-time employees receive health, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days, plus a company-matched 401(k) and vacation time. Required Qualifications
- Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, furniture, appliances and other large items that need to be handled with care
- An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or class D license)
- Ability to be a team player
- A friendly, customer-service-driven personality
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
