Job Summary
Deliver materials to customer job sites using efficient routes, complying with all highway rules and regulations. Comply with safety policies, maintain company vehicles and equipment, and conduct yard inventory cycle counts. Assist customers with loading and unloading while providing professional service to contractors and do-it-yourselfers. Accurately stage materials to ensure delivery schedules are met. Complete required orientation and safety training, and commit to continued learning on products and procedures. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
- An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or D license)
- Ability to participate effectively as a team member
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment
