Job Summary
Collect and deliver medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations across the Rochester, NY area while operating a 26-foot box truck safely. Load and unload trucks, organize cargo per schedule, and push heavy carts up to 200lbs. Complete deliveries on time, communicate schedule changes, and comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections. Maintain vehicle safety through pre-trip and post-trip evaluations. This full-time, direct-hire role offers 40-50 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 5 AM to 3 PM, with a competitive set rate of $24.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 YEARS Delivery experience within a 26 foot box truck
- VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
- Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Proven longevity in past employment
