Job Summary
Drive new cab-over 16' box trucks with aluminum lift-gates on B2B routes within the DC Metro area, handling dock-to-dock deliveries and assisting with loading/unloading using hand trucks. Manage daily routes that vary but feature repeating pickup and delivery locations while maintaining constant communication with dispatchers. Maintain a good attendance record, a positive attitude, and a maximum MVA driving record of 3 points, providing your current DOT card or proof of eligibility. Work Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 6:15 PM with occasional overtime, earning $26.50 per hour with bi-monthly pay, 80 hours of pro-rated vacation, and eight paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- PROVEN multi-point BOX TRUCK delivery experience within the DC METRO area
- familiar with the main roads that feed into 495, both inside and outside the beltway
- live within approximately 35 minutes of Frederick
- local work history
- stability and reliability
- current DOT card or be able to obtain one
- maximum MVA driving record of 3 points
- bring your motor vehicle driving record, obtainable online, to the interview
