Job Summary
Safely drive and operate company 20 and 30-foot box trucks, loading and unloading packages while overseeing a team of up to six on-foot delivery associates. Navigate delivery routes using handheld devices, lift packages up to 50 lbs, and maintain a clean, organized vehicle. Report any issues or problems to management immediately. Work 8-10 hour shifts from 10 am to 8 pm, seven days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Start and end your day at the Amazon Warehouse in Carteret, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Eligible to work in the U.S
- At least 21 years of age
- Pass a pre-employment process
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work Saturday or Sunday
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to get in and out of truck
- Comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions
