Job Summary
Weigh and label boxes and packages of beef, pork, lamb, veal, and seafood accurately and timely, ensuring correct stock or customer order labeling. Follow standardized pack specifications and customer-specified deviations communicated via work orders or cut tickets. Perform quality control checks, inspect products for defects, bruises, or blemishes, and communicate any issues to supervisors. Read and comprehend special instructions, offer assistance to team members, and immediately perceive auditory warning signals for equipment safety. Work independently or within a team environment while adhering to Food Safety and Occupational Safety Guidelines. Requires ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Required Qualifications
- Must have ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Must be able to work independently or within a team environment
- Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures
- Must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns
- Must have working knowledge of production equipment
- Must be able to understand and follow all Food Safety Guidelines and Occupational Safety Guidelines
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
