Job Summary
Greet customers, confirm reservations, and redeem tickets while managing the box office for THE POLAR EXPRESS train ride. Act as a liaison between agents and the Business Manager to handle inquiries, rebooking, and system updates. Oversee the team to ensure proper breaks, task adherence, and a safe, welcoming environment. Maintain ticketing area cleanliness and provide event information using the Etix platform. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays in inclement weather aboard a moving train.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn the Etix Ticketing platform with efficiency and competency
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Possess a well-spoken manner in personal communications
- Self-motivation and attention to details
- Must be 18 or over
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Able to stand and walk on uneven or unsteady surfaces aboard a moving train
- Time spent in and around active railroad yard(s)
Desired Qualifications
- Front desk, reservation, customer service experience preferred
