Job Summary
Check daily updates and arrive on time for shifts supporting concerts, plays, dance performances, NCAA sports, and speakers. Sell tickets and merchandise via internet, phone, and counter while answering phones and fielding customer inquiries using Box Office materials. Assist with marketing distribution, archiving arts events, and maintaining a neat workspace. Count and balance cash drawers at end of day. Work flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts to represent Middlebury College to the community. This role requires PCI DSS training completion and agreement signing for credit card access. Eligible students must be available Tuesday through Friday 10-5 plus evening and weekend hours. Pay is $14.50 per hour on the Level A wage scale.
Required Qualifications
- Schedule availability that includes some weekday hours (Tues - Fri 10 - 5) as well as some evening and weekend availability (Thurs - Sun)
- Willingness and flexibility to work day, evening and weekend shifts for Box Office supported events
- Must be reliable, courteous and outgoing
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
