Job Summary
Oversee all ticket office operations, including creating events with appropriate ticketing software, managing seating inventory from build through settlement, and maintaining accurate show records and customer databases. Direct departmental planning, hire and train staff, and ensure equipment is functioning correctly while verifying ticket sales and updating internal software. Lead customer service policies to resolve internal and external issues, maintain rapport with artist management, and facilitate backend sales to provide data-driven insights for pricing adjustments. Prepare event settlement reports for finance and third parties, implement VIP and Platinum ticketing initiatives, and act as the departmental liaison to venues, management, and agencies. Manage dynamic pricing initiatives and advance items essential for overall program functionality and on-site execution.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalency
- 4-6 years Of related work experience
- Previous experience in the music industry and event planning
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Basic knowledge of databases
- Strong math aptitude
- Focus on detail and accuracy
- Computer savvy
- Knowledgeable and skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Moderate to complex problem solving skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize heavy work load while working in a fast paced working environment
- Knowledge of industry best practices
- Proven ability to manage and lead team
