Job Summary
Part-time Box Office Associate at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts responsible for selling tickets and subscriptions, answering calls and emails, exchanging tickets for season subscribers, reconciling cash, and delivering exemplary customer service. Knowledge of Ticketmaster and Tessitura is a plus; prior box office or guest services experience preferred. Must be able to handle cash accurately and operate the computerized ticketing system; hours may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Box office or guest services background preferred
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Computer skills to operate computerized ticketing system
- Knowledge of Ticketmaster and Tessitura preferred
- Ability to work long and irregular hours including day, evening, weekends, and holidays
