Job Summary
Process approximately 20K orders annually for 80K tickets and $4M in revenue, including ticket exchanges, refunds, and donations. Maintain accurate daily sales reconciliation and open/close box offices at 19 Clarendon Street and Citizens Opera House, verifying cash drawers. Respond to inbound patron feedback via phone, mail, and email while de-escalating difficult communications and flagging sensitive issues to management. Clean database records, merge accounts, and assist in outbound call campaigns to subscribers. Perform administrative tasks such as creating complimentary ticket lists and tracking ticket broker accounts. Work performance weeks at Citizens Opera House with hybrid options available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales and customer service
- Strong customer service skills
- Professional, enthusiastic, and accurate with numbers and details
- Flexible, positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
- Enthusiasm to contribute to a work environment that strives for diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Some evenings and weekends are required during performance weeks
