Job Summary
Sort, prepare, and package products requiring custom packaging while scanning items with handheld scanners and using banding equipment. Read pick ticket details to identify letters and numbers, then stage finished goods for shipping to UPS, FedEx, or LTL carriers. Operate the box machine, change corrugate as needed, and ensure the work area remains clean and organized before leaving each shift. Maintain safety protocols by wearing protective-toed shoes and gloves when handling metal products. Work Monday through Friday and Sunday in a warehouse environment requiring physical stamina to lift up to 75 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Casual Dress Code – Steel-Toed Boots or Shoes REQUIRED
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, and squat for the duration of the shift
- Must have the ability to grasp, push, and pull with hands for the duration of the shift
- Required to frequently bend and twist the neck and waist
- Required to occasionally squat and kneel
- Talking, hearing, and seeing are essential
- Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to operate equipment- 18 years or older (If applicable)
- Must have the ability to endure extreme hot and cold temperatures, humidity, and work in a noisy environment
- Must have the ability to identify letters and numbers
- Must be comfortable with a computer to complete basic functions
- Must adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
- The individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, and responds to management direction
- Must have the ability to orally communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and other employees
- Using banding equipment on the product is required
Desired Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Prior warehouse or packaging experience preferred
