Job Summary
Install and de-install merchandisers and other Reddy Ice systems at customer locations, load/unload equipment, verify operation with a thermometer, and assist with complex installations. Contribute to lean improvements (Kaizen, value stream mapping, A3) and maintain asset registers. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 40 lbs; minimal travel with potential for overnight; weekend and night work may be required; operate company vehicle safely and adhere to safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record – will be required to use company vehicle at times
- Able to lift 40lbs and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to perform minimal travel and weekend/night work
- Ability to load/unload merchandisers and equipment at various locations
- Demonstrated teamwork and customer service orientation
- Desire to learn additional trade skills and participate in lean initiatives
- Forklift experience preferred
