Job Summary
Maintain center equipment, create tech break schedules, and cover shifts for Tech PTO or call-outs in a 16-lane bowling center. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including belt-driven timed mechanisms, while analyzing machine malfunctions to resolve customer complaints. Train technicians and new hires on documented schedules, safety procedures, and machine area standards. Replenish parts inventory, record repairs, and ensure compliance with Tribal, State, and Federal regulations. Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining a clean work environment and following preventive maintenance programs. Open availability required, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Combination of education and 5-10 years of experience working as a mechanic or maintenance technician in a customer service-oriented environment
- Experience working with belt driven mechanically timed systems
- Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts
- Proven intermediate skills in Windows, MS Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and experience with database systems
- Knowledgeable in bowling operations - 1 year of experience required
- Must be customer service oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Working knowledge and understanding of MSDS, OSHA requirements, and biohazard clean up and disposal
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license with the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency
- Technical certificate in an industrial related field
- Ability to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift
