Job Summary
Treat large, complex, and multidisciplinary construction loss files independently. Investigate the cause, nature, and extent of damage, then establish loss amounts and advise on loss mitigation strategies. Draft clear reports to assist stakeholders in making informed decisions while managing progress, quality, and expectations. Maintain contact with clients, insurers, contractors, and other parties to build relationships and ensure continuity after major incidents. Share specialist knowledge with colleagues and contribute to the Dutch Expertise/MCL team's collaborative solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Een afgeronde relevante HBO- of WO-opleiding (Bouwkunde, Weg- en Waterbouwkunde en/of Civiele Techniek)
- Ten minste 10 jaar ervaring als bouwkundig schade-expert binnen de co-assurantiemarkt
- Registerexpert-status of de bereidheid om deze op korte termijn te behalen
- Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels, mondeling en schriftelijk
Desired Qualifications
- Commercieel inzicht en het vertrouwen om op senior niveau met opdrachtgevers te schakelen
- Een coachende houding, zodat collega's ook van jouw ervaring kunnen leren
- Het vermogen om technische inhoud begrijpelijk te maken voor verschillende gesprekspartners
