Job Summary
Lead day-to-day boutique operations, ensuring exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness, merchandising, and service while personally engaging with clients to deliver the renowned omotenashi experience. Develop strategies to increase sales, recruit and retain clients, and drive boutique performance against key indicators. Manage inventory, conduct stock counts, and resolve customer escalations while maintaining brand standards and privacy compliance. Lead, coach, and develop the team through performance management, training, onboarding, and recruitment. Participate in VIP events, product launches, and brand initiatives to support overall objectives. This permanent role requires full availability across all store hours, including weekends and public holidays. Applicants must have full Australian working rights.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail leadership or boutique management position
- Proven experience managing, coaching and developing a team
- Experience within luxury beauty, cosmetics, premium skincare, designer brands, luxury retail or luxury spa's
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen
- Problem solving skills
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to build strong and lasting client relationships
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Genuine passion for luxury beauty, skincare and delivering elevated client experiences
- Full Australian working rights
- Available to work across all store opening hours including for store events and on weekends and public holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience performing professional facial treatments or skincare services
- Qualifications (or equivalent) in facial treatment, beauty or makeup artistry
- Additional language skills, particularly Mandarin, Cantonese or Vietnamese
