Job Summary
Provide a warm welcome to internal and external guests, assisting them with purchases and using suggestive selling techniques to promote sales. Operate cash registers and credit card machines to process transactions, while unpacking, tagging, and re-stocking merchandise for resale. Maintain store cleanliness and organization by checking shelves, processing inventory, and keeping store rooms tidy. Perform physical duties including lifting inventory up to 40 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and reaching high hanging items. Work a 95% shift schedule. Prior experience in luxury brand retail is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in a cash handling position
- Must have exceptional organization skills
- Must be able to lift inventory, boxes up to 40 lbs
- Bending required to stock and clean the shop
- Kneeling required to assist in inventory and guest service
- Needs to be able to move around shop to assist guest, stock merchandise, control loss, dust all areas of the shop, vacuum the shop, reach high hanging merchandise
- Clerk will stand behind the register as the posted perch area
- Climbing stairs of approximately 1 step 50% of 8 hour shift
- Climbing ladders of approximately 6 feet 30% of 8 hour shift
- Work inside 95% shift
Desired Qualifications
- Three months or more of luxury brand retail/sales related experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
