Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities; assess the patient’s mental status; diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans; apply psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments; staff clinical cases with psychiatrists; requires Colorado nursing license with psychiatry focus and Colorado pharmacy license/DEA to prescribe controlled substances; 1 year of geriatrics psychiatry and SNF/acute rehab experience; Spanish is a plus. Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA)
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
