Job Summary
Conduct daily butchery operations including cutting, preparing, and selling meat products while adhering to hygiene standards and local sourcing commitments. Manage production and sales schedules, oversee product selection and ordering, and advise customers to foster trust and proximity. Serve as the deputy to the shop manager, representing the Producteurs & Commerçants brand across 1,800 Intermarché stores. Requires prior experience at the same function.
Required Qualifications
- Experience at the same function
- Ability to cut, prepare, and sell products in respect of the tradition of the trade and hygiene standards
- Ability to manage production and sales schedules
- Ability to participate in the selection and ordering of products
- Ability to advise customers with pleasure
- Ability to ensure the presentation of products and the department
- Relational qualities
- Being a 'merchant at heart' (creating links of trust and proximity with customers)
- Ability to provide advice and added value to customers
