Bottling Technician

Job Summary

Operate and monitor bottling line equipment, including fillers, cappers, uncasing, and case packing systems while performing equipment changeovers to support production needs. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues in a timely manner, conduct routine maintenance, and assist with preventative maintenance tasks. Perform quality checks to ensure product meets company standards and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures while providing guidance and direction to temporary employees supporting the line. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work 12-hour shifts with overtime as needed, and read/write accurate documentation required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Good physical condition, including ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, and perform repetitive movements (bending, kneeling, squatting)
  • Good vision and manual dexterity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment as required
  • Ability to move between workstations and production areas
  • Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
  • Comfortable working in wet and humid conditions (non-weather related)
  • Exposure to loud noise levels (hearing protection required)
  • Potential exposure to electrical components and associated risks
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed
  • Regular, reliable, in-person attendance required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience communicating across multiple levels of an organization
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program, technical school, or associate degree
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (2+ years preferred)
