Job Summary
Operate and control bottling machinery, including fillers, cappers, labelers, and conveyors, to ensure efficient and accurate production. Monitor output and conduct routine quality checks to identify deviations, reporting issues to lead/management immediately. Manage product counts and perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures for weekly preventative maintenance documentation. Collaborate with maintenance technicians, quality control personnel, and supervisors to resolve operational issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Shift schedule is typically Monday-Thursday, 6AM-4PM. Hourly wage is $20.00 plus an annual bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails/memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written and oral procedures
