Job Summary
Execute scheduled 24-hour bottling production adhering to wine/package quality, productivity, sanitation compliance, and budgetary standards. Manage team performance, measure and communicate hourly/daily productivity, and oversee process improvements to reduce downtime and increase capacity. Partner with maintenance and Quality Control to ensure equipment and infrastructure meet all safety, HACCP, ISO, and cGMP standards. Enforce regulatory guidelines, coordinate inventory counts, and initiate capital expenditure requests to lower operating costs. Coach direct reports through the GPS performance process, address employee concerns, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe, healthy work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, food science or related field
- 7 to 10 years' experience in bottling or high speed packaging environment
- In-depth experience in a fast paced Lean production environment
- 5 to 7 years direct leadership and management in beverage or related manufacturing
- Proven Lean manufacturing problem solving and related skills
- SAP experience
- Strong computer knowledge
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) skills
- Strong emphasis and track record using Excel for data analysis of equipment efficiencies and related measures
