Job Summary
Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and tote stackers to sort, count, compact, and move empty beverage containers for recycling. Safely load and unload trailers with totes and bag racks, then lift and empty bags into sorting or compactor equipment while accurately processing data entry for receiving and green bags. Maintain a clean work area, troubleshoot equipment issues, and report maintenance needs in compliance with OSHA safety standards and OBRC policies. Work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push 50+ lbs frequently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to work in a physical, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 30lbs
- Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to push/pull 50+ lbs frequently
- Close vision
- Distance vision
