Job Summary
Maintain the appearance of the BottleDrop Redemption Center and surrounding area by sweeping, mopping, wiping counters and machines, and properly storing supplies. Educate customers on Oregon's Bottle Bill and assist them with kiosks, payment slips, tags, and reverse vending machines while enforcing daily limits professionally. Efficiently complete data entry for beverage containers and safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and tools. Adhere to OSHA safety standards and proper PPE usage, including safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 30lbs
- Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Push/pull 50+ lbs. frequently (wheeled bag racks)
- Talking and hearing is frequently required
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand and walk
- Must be able to bend/stoop/crouch/squat
- Must be able to use arms/wrists/hands/grasp
- Must be able to occasionally climb and balance
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service and/or cash handling experience
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to operate manual/electric pallet jacks after training/certification
- Ability to operate powered floor scrubber after training/certification
