Job Summary
Provide courteous and professional customer service at the Bend BottleDrop Redemption Center. Maintain the facility's appearance inside and outside, educate customers on Oregon’s Bottle Bill and the BottleDrop system, assist customers with kiosk use, payment slips, bags, tags, and reverse vending machines, enforce daily limits, perform data entry, and operate or troubleshoot Redemption Center equipment. Adhere to OSHA safety standards and OBRC policies, use PPE as required, and perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to work outdoors in varying temperatures, handle physical tasks (lifting 30-50 lbs, pushing/pulling 50+ lbs, standing/walking, bending), and contribute to a safe, efficient customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to operate manual/electric pallet jacks after training/certification
- Ability to operate powered floor scrubber after training/certification
- Reliable with punctual attendance
