Job Summary
Load and unload trucks with bottled water product, perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, and maintain truck cleanliness inside and out. Deliver water to customers within the Bonnyville district, collecting payments and obtaining signatures while maintaining customer inventory. Provide electronic or handwritten invoices, establish positive relationships with clients, and handle minor preventative vehicle maintenance. Ensure safety compliance when accessing industrial and oilfield worksites. Full benefits, including dental and vision insurance, are available after three months.
Required Qualifications
- Age: minimum 18 years old
- Licensing: A valid class 5 driver's license with clean driver's abstract must be supplied
- Criminal Record: RCMP Background check must be supplied
- Physicality: Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs in each hand repeatedly throughout the day with frequent bending, kneeling, twisting.
- Directions: A good sense of direction, ability to follow GPS and read work orders prior to deliveries.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Works well with others and maintains a positive attitude under pressure.
- Independent: Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Attention to Detail: While handling customer invoices and work orders.
- Safety Awareness: Follows all workplace safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques.
- This position requires access to safety sensitive customer industrial and oilfield worksites. Successful candidates must be able to meet all client site access requirements, including fitness-for-duty standards and any applicable drug and alcohol testing policies at all times.
