Job Summary

Monitor production lines by supplying equipment, adjusting settings, and performing quality checks while managing full line changes, clean-in-place procedures, and custom casework. Operate molding, packaging, and labeling machinery, document downtime on Thin Clients, and lead shift setups to ensure power and air systems function correctly. Float across the Bottle Blowing department and Production areas to support business demands, fill in for absent operators, and provide work direction or Line Lead responsibilities as needed. Maintain 5S standards, participate in Lean Manufacturing teams, and verify schedules to uphold safety and quality protocols. Work Monday through Thursday from 5:45 AM to 4:00 PM at the Princeton location.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment
  • 1 year of previous experience working in a manufacturing setting
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have the ability to maintain current knowledge, skills and/or certifications relevant to assigned job responsibilities
  • Proficiency in computer and technology applications required for job responsibilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English
  • Proficiency in basic math
  • Strong ability to provide work direction and collaborate with team members while multitasking in a dynamic environment
  • Competence in operating and troubleshooting production line equipment
  • Deductive reasoning to resolve issues independently
  • Ability to anticipate issues, adjust to changing priorities, and persist under time constraints
  • Attention to detail combined with an understanding of whole-system processes
  • Ability to work across multiple production lines efficiently
  • Strong understanding of production operations
  • Must have the ability to work and participate in an environment that expects all employees to support wellness, safety, quality, and environmental responsibility
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with persistence to meet task deadlines under time constraints
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
  • Ability to walk throughout the facility
  • Ability to utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Must be available for Monday - Thursday: 5:45 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to float across different areas within Production
  • Must be able to fill in for absent employees
  • Must be able to provide work direction and training to team members
  • Must be able to lead shift setup
  • Must be able to monitor and make adjustments to molding or packaging machine processes
  • Must be able to perform full line changes, setups, clean-in-place (CIP), and washouts
  • Must be able to verify production schedules and communicate critical information
  • Must be able to document production line downtime
  • Must be able to generate I-Service requests
  • Must be able to perform quality checks and complete corresponding paperwork and data entry
  • Must be able to repackage, recode, and perform other custom casework
  • Must be able to actively participate in Lean Manufacturing teams
  • Must be able to lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives
  • Must be able to perform 5S duties such as cleaning and organizing work areas
  • Must be able to verify chemical and tool inventory
  • Must be able to assist and back up other operators and team members
  • Must be able to perform Line Lead responsibilities
  • Must be able to lead employees through break schedules
  • Must be able to ensure efficient equipment operation and adherence to production schedules without sacrificing quality or safety
  • Must be able to support wellness, safety, quality, and environmental responsibility
  • Must be able to provide work direction to other team members in the absence of the Lead
  • Must be able to work on-site reporting to the Princeton location

Desired Qualifications

  • Oracle experience
  • Previous experience working in food production or packaging
  • High speed bottling experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
